747 N Wabash Ave, Gold Coast, Chicago 60611
Built 2003
The Bernardin sits right in the heart of the Gold Coast, with a look that leans on historic character but comes loaded with modern perks like a swimming pool, a fitness center, and floor-to-ceiling windows that pull in city and lake views, plus apartments with island kitchens and roomy balconies in select layouts. You are a one-minute walk from coffee at Stan's Donuts, and you can duck into Pippin's Tavern or Streeter's Tavern when you want a drink, or wander over to Chicago and State Park three minutes away. Had a wonderful time living here and it wouldn’t have been the same without Ken! I’ll miss this place!
Excellent location and excellent staff. The two-bedroom apartment with a balcony is very stylishly furnished, and I loved the outdoor area. We had a delicious barbecue there and, of course, enjoyed the pool. I highly recommend it. I would definitely stay again.
