Sentral Michigan Ave
808 S Michigan Ave, South Loop, Chicago 60605
Sentral took over the old Essex on the Park tower on Michigan Ave, a 56-floor South Loop high-rise looking straight across at Grant Park, with sun-filled units that have 9-foot ceilings, quartz counters, full-size in-unit washer/dryers, and rainfall showers. The standouts are the outdoor pool and spa deck, a fourth-floor coworking space with private conference rooms, and some of the most serious dog amenities in the neighborhood (multiple runs plus a pup spa). You can grab a quick coffee at Le Petit Cafe a minute away, walk over to Kitty O'Shea's for a pint, or wander down to Dearborn Park. The Harrison Red Line stop and a Trader Joe's are both about an 8-minute walk.

10/10 accomodation for me personally. I always feel safe and close enough to attractions when staying at Sentral. And is close enough to my husbands office for work. …
Staying here for one night cost nearly $600, plus a hefty $500 deposit upfront. For that kind of money, a fully self-service check-in using a buggy kiosk is a frustrating start. …
Second time staying here and we enjoyed it again. Matt was beyond helpful and kind. I had great encounters with many of the staff and highly recommend this place. The view of the Lake from our 2 Bedroom Room was incredible.
The team is absolutely the best a person can ask for. Everyone is always happy to help. I stayed one year and I felt like home. …
First time at this property for a four night stay, sharing a two bedroom unit with a colleague for a medical convention. Views are great but on my second night, I get home after a long day and I get no hot water in my shower. I soldier on …
This hotel is awful along with the location. I had stayed for 3 nights and first the hotel room was severely damaged prior to us getting in. It was just completely dirty (pictures down below) and it has seem like they barely tried to clean …
