Carol Stream Crossing
535 Thornhill Dr, Carol Stream, Chicago 60188
Carol Stream Crossing is a sprawling, low-key suburban community off Thornhill Drive where the renovated units actually feel updated, with vinyl plank floors, granite kitchen counters, stainless appliances, and your own in-unit washer and dryer. The real draw is how much is packed into the grounds: two pools, two fitness centers (one with a Peloton bike room), a sauna, and outdoor space that includes grilling picnic spots, sand volleyball, soccer and baseball fields, plus a kids' play area. There's no CTA train nearby, so this is a drive-everywhere spot, but a Jewel-Osco is about fifteen minutes out for full grocery runs. If you want square footage, a quiet pace, and amenities you'll genuinely use over being walkable to a train, it fits.

Walked in because I had a tour scheduled. Three employees that were sitting behind their desks just STARED at me. Two of them were busy with customers which I get, but even the one that was free said nothing, no greeting or how can I help. …
Great customer service and very nice apartments. I leased an apartment and it was hassle free from the paper work to getting the keys.
After visiting several apartment communities, Carol Stream Crossing stood out for all the right reasons. From my very first tour through the application process and move-in day, the entire experience exceeded my expectations. …
Nice apartment but some buildings are very old and in need of constant repairs, the hot water is not working one day, then the heat or A/C is not working, and the elevator is not working. Sometimes I feel like elevator needs a complete …
Long overdue honest review after living here for almost 4 years. - squirrels & Random creatures get in throughout building - Racist lease guy. Not Sure If He Still Works There But He Is Known To Taunt …
Jonathon came to my apartment to do maintenance on one of my air conditioners. He was really nice. He answered my questions patiently and thoroughly, and he did an efficient and complete job.
“Although I haven’t moved in yet, my experience with the leasing office has been excellent so far. The staff has been professional, friendly, and helpful throughout the application and move-in process. They have answered all my questions …
Highly recommend this apartment complex! From the touring and application process to moving in, the leasing team’s communication has been outstanding. They are always quick to answer emails, clear in their instructions, and keep residents updated on everything. It's rare to find …
You can hear every footstep and every kind of noise, maintenance takes a long time to resolve, and the heating doesn't work.
Honestly the maintenance is the worst part of living here. You have to constantly pester them and stress about getting things fixed up. Legitimately every request has to be submitted multiple times and they only address it after like a …
